Business Development EMEA
In the Business Development role, you will be responsible for building the BioDiscovery business in Europe. This will be accomplished through direct sales, support of distributors and partnerships, field marketing, and other activities needed to establish BioDiscovery as the leader in the European market. This is an exciting opportunity for the right professional that offers substantial career growth.
Responsibilities will include:
- Identify all potential prospects, select the prospects that best fit BioDiscovery products and services.
- Grow the revenues in the EMEA (Europe is the principal focus).
- Develop business plans for existing accounts for additional sales.
- Create presentations/proposals to new and existing clients.
- Successful sales closing.
- Execute marketing events (e.g., tradeshows, conferences, seminars).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate highly technical information to both a technical and non-technical audience.
- Have strategic planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Have solid negotiation skills with the ability to close business deals.
- Must be a self starter with high level of motivation and innovation.
Qualifications:
- BS, MS, or PhD in a Life Science (or other science or engineering with appropriate background in this market).
- Team player with an ability to work well independently with minimal supervisor.
- Solid business acumen with experience in a biotechnical environment.
