Position Description:

The Field Application Scientist promotes customer success with scientific advice, in-depth customer training, software functionality, and data analysis. The individual is expected to be independent and self-motivated, and will be working with prospective and existing BioDiscovery customers in a variety of settings.

This position is located in Western Europe (major centers considered).

Position Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences, (Master’s or PhD degree preferred) and >5 years related experience in laboratory research using Molecular Biology techniques. A solid scientific background in genotyping or gene expression with publication record is preferred. Excellent computer skills essential. Requires strong written and oral communication skills in English and in either French or German. Business travel is required and may occasionally include weekends and international travel.
